Saw the movie opening day at the Ziegfield Theater in NYC. Audience applauded the screen as if they were at a Broadway performance! ...And New Yorkers are supposed to be jaded. I loved it. I love musicals and this was done in such a clever filmic manner. The 3 principles were great, but Queen Latifah blew me away. Her number, "Be Good to Mama" was funny and well done. And let's not forget the moment when we see her sporting the latest "Roxie" 'do!!!! See it, you'll be hummin' the tunes for weeks!!!
