The best score for the worst film of the year! If you like the music of Stephen Warbeck, this is another good score, although it might be a little long in the running time department. Lots of this music is lush, but it really doesn't go anywhere. The main theme is great, but the lack of enthusiasm for the film (and having to be reminded of Nicolas Cage's phoney accent) has seriously hampered any listening enjoyment. The La Scala songs attempt to break up the flowing lushness, but these tend to be more irritating than anything else.
