diachenko's review
of this soundtrack CD:
by diachenko on 12/3/2007 Another enjoyable Silvestri score in the same vein as Van Helsing (though not quite as good). Pulsing action, lots of brass, and rushing strings - Silvestri knows how to do epic spectacle as well as any of the Remote Control/MV guys (a compliment in my book). The end credits song sung by Idina Menzel and fully orchestral is a powerful, beautiful ending to the disc. Silvestri hasn't bested his scores for The Mummy Returns and Van Helsing yet, but Beowulf is a worthy addition to his portfolio. Recommended. see all reviews, or add a review
