Dexter's song is priceless. It brings out untouched emotions from your core. I plan to use this in my psychotherapy sessions (as appropriate) to cut through veneer we all hide behind.

I am planning to study classical composing this year; I am a senior citizen and do it as a hobby. I just saw a preview of the awakenings on TV and immediately liked the soundtrack. I assumed it was from a symphony and went on line to search for it. I found Randy Newman wrote it. Randy Newman and Paul Simon are a few of the only non modern classical people I still listen to. Wish I could talk him into writing a symphony. His talent as writer and his orchestrations are excellent
