dungus's review of this soundtrack CD:

This soundtrack is heartbreaking and triumphant all at once. From the heartbreaking love song, "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing," to the triumph of the film's main title, this soundtrack carries into the core of the asteroid the core of the human heart, asking how deep is the capacity of love? Or how far would you go to save the ones you love, or even strangers? The songs are also humorous as they carry you into the spirits of the film's characters. Sexuality lives in innuendo and is red hot. Armageddon is truly a wordly out-of-this world experience that will leave you floating in outer space for all time. You'll never want to come back, but you don't want to miss a thing!
